LEGISLATIVE ACTION

The Legislature provides $11,742,000 on an All Funds basis, an increase 
of $100,000 to the Executive budget submission.

Legislative Changes

The Legislature notes with concern the reports of dangerous conditions 
existing at certain adult homes in which many persons with mental illness 
reside.  Therefore, $100,000 is provided to assist in the formation of 
resident councils and the organization of advocacy activities.
