LEGISLATIVE ACTION

The Legislature denies the Executive proposal to close five armories in 
the State and provides $167,000 to restore funding for operation and maintenance 
of the armories in Malone (Franklin County); Oneonta (Otsego County); Syracuse, 
East Genesee Street (Onondaga); Ticonderoga (Essex County); and Tonawanda (Erie 
County).

Article VII

The Legislature denies the Executive Article VII language related to expanding 
the designated acceptable uses of State properties that are transferred to local 
municipalities to include governmental purposes.
