This Office is included in the Public Protection and General Government appropriation bill. State Operations The Governor recommends a State Operations General Fund appropriation of $3,702,000. This amount reflects a SFY 2002-03 increase of $118,000, or 3.3 percent over SFY 2001-02, attributable to the following: -- a $241,000 net increase to reflect salary adjustments; -- a $123,000 net decrease in funding associated with extending the schedule for implementation of the Online Permit and Licensing (OPAL) system, and elimination of 3 vacant FTE positions. |
