LEGISLATIVE ACTION

The Legislature denies the Executive proposal to transfer three positions 
to the Division of Criminal Justice Services and to eliminate two positions. 
The denial of the transfer to the Division makes available $130,000 to be utilized 
by the Board for its operations.  The Legislature adds an additional $161,000 
to the Board to continue current operations.
